Pastor Bill Wenig has lived in Iowa most of his life and grew up in a minister’s home. He is thankful for his great Christian heritage and was called to the ministry at a young age. He is a graduate of Burlington High School and North Central University with a B.S. in Pastoral Studies. Before coming to Glad Tidings Assembly in the fall of 2008 he served in 4 other Iowa A/G churches: Council Bluffs, Burlington, Mt. Pleasant, and Carroll. Hunting and basketball are some of his favorite past-times.
He and his wife Shari were married in 1983 and have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.
Their son Dan and wife Rachael and grandchildren Levi, Norah, Grace and Isaac.
Dan is a CrossFit trainer and is an Iron Man Participant in Brookfield, WI. Their daughter Erica lives and works in Washington DC.
Shari is originally from South Dakota and grew up in a ministry family as well. She has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Buena Vista College. She is a Certified Minister with the Assemblies of God and enjoys teaching and also ministering on the worship team.

Pastor Tanya & Reverend Matt Stuva

Pastor Tanya Stuva graduated from Indianola High School. She and her husband, Pastor
Matt, have been serving in ministry for 30 years. Most recently they pastored Hope
Assembly of God church in Colfax for 20 years.
Pastor Tanya is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God, receiving her credentials
through the Iowa School of Ministry in 2018. In Tanya's role as a pastor’s wife, she has
served in many areas of ministry including music, women’s ministry, nursery, and children’s
ministry.
She has also worked in the nursing field most of her career and spent several years in
pediatrics with special needs and medically fragile children.
They have three grown children and seven grandchildren. She has a calling to teach and
guide young children into a relationship with Jesus.
